Seafood Festival Menu
With the thought of summer all but a distant memory why not take the opportunity to be whisked back to the seaside at Joy's seafood festival which takes place throughout October.
Our special seafood dishes are meticulously prepared, with our chef Badoni ensuring that only the the finest ingredients are used.

Starters
1. Sesame Fish Finger £4.50
Lightly spiced fish marinated with egg white, lemon juice, salt, mustard sauce, pepper, dill and coated with sesame seed bread crumbs and deep fried. Served with tartare sauce.
2. Fried Kalamari £4.50
Sliced squid marinated in ground Indian spices. Fried in light batter and served crispy with tartare sauce.
3. Lahsuni Machhi (1 Chilli) £4.95
A choice of bite sized pieces of tilapia fish, marinated in yogurt, leafy green garlic, green chilli, coriander leaves, peppers a lemon juice. Roasted in Tandoori clay oven. Served with mint sauce.
4. Mussels Chatkuri (1 Chilli)£4.95
Mussels tossed with spicy lababdar sauce, green chilli and chopped coriander and spring onion.
5. Salmon Ke Tikke£4.75
Cubes of salmon delicately spiced and slowly cooked in a tandoor. Giving it that distinctive charcoal and herbs flavour. Served with mint sauce.
6. Soufia Prawn £5.95
King prawn marinated in Tandoori spices and herbs and fennel seeds, cooked in a clay oven. Served with mint sauce.
7. Crab Cake £4.50
Fresh white crabmeat marinated and deep fried with chopped onion, tomato, herbs and coconut cream and coated with breadcrumbs and served with barbecue sauce.

King scallop cooked into rich coriander mint yogurt sauce and finishing with fresh grated coconut.

King prawns marinates in yogurt, ginger, garlic and spiced. Cooked in clay oven and mixes with our joy special sauces.

Assortment of fish kebab, king prawn, scallop, salmon and tilapia Tikka. Roasted in a tandoor and served with sauce.
8. Tandoori Pomfrett (1 Chilli) £8.95
Marinated pomfrett flavoured with Ajwaini (thyme), fennel seeds, mustard, garlic and yogurt sauce. Roasted in clay over and served with mint sauce.
9. Seek-e-Machhi(1 Chilli) £9.95
While sea bass fish marinated in north Indian special spices, yogurt and cheese sauce. Cooke in clay oven. Served with iceberg lettuce and mint sauce.
